
The course “An Introduction to Implementation” provides a foundational understanding of implementation science, the study of how to effectively translate research into practice. Participants will explore the why and what of implementation, including:
- Key concepts such as enablers, barriers, and strategies
- An overview of implementation theories, models, and frameworks
- Practical guidance on implementation planning
- Core competencies for successful implementation
The course is delivered through formal inputs, group work and case studies and is comprised of six three-hour modules. Whether you're new to implementation or looking to strengthen your applied research impact, this programme offers essential tools and insights to support evidence-informed change in real-world settings.
