Dr Ruan O’Donnell, School of History and Geography, speaking on  2 August 2025 for the Moore Street Preservation Trust at the famed Dublin terrace under threat of demolition and in the historic Wynn’s Hotel. Several descendants of those who signed the 1916 Proclamation and relocated from the GPO on O’Connell Street to Moore Street attended and spoke, not least grandchildren of James Connolly, Micheal O’Rahilly and Joe Plunkett.

O’Donnell was the author of ‘Patrick Pearse’ in the acclaimed ‘16 Lives’ series he co edited for O’Brien Press with Lorcan Collins.
