The Centre for Crime, Justice & Victim Studies invites you to:
‘Words Matter: Promoting Best Practice in Media and Cultural Representations of Gender-Based Violence’, a one-day conference which will be held at the ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ on 25th of October 2024.
This conference is organised by Dr Susan Leahy and includes the launch of ‘Words Matter: Guidance for Media Reporting on Sexual Violence in Ireland’, which has been created as part of a project conducted in partnership with the Sexual Violence Centre Cork, which was funded by the Irish Research Council New Foundations Scheme.
