This week (week starting the 20th of October), 7 TY students for 3 different schools in co. Limerick and one in co. Wicklow joined the Language Learning Hub (LLH) coordinator, Catherine Jeanneau, for their work experience. The students attended lectures and tutorials in various languages (French, German, Japanese and Spanish) and various subjects such as Linguistics, Digital Communication and Media, all delivered by MLAL staff. They also attended lectures and tutorials in Gaeilge, English literature or Sociology, highlighting the depth and breath of subjects in our Faculty. Students also experienced campus life by joining the Diwali celebrations or joining some of the activities organised by the LLH. This memorable week creates strong links between TY students and UL. A similar TY week will run the week of the 3rd of November and others in the Spring semester.
