The ERASMUS MUNDUS Joint Master TELME project has been selected for funding by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). The project has been awarded €3,291,600 in funding over a period of 74 months, from November 2025 to December 2031, which will allow scholarships to be offered to around 30 students each year. This joint master’s programme, led by the University of Rennes 2 in collaboration with four other European partners (Ã…bo Akademi University (Finland); Adam Mickiewicz University (Poland); University of Burgos (Spain); ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ (Ireland)), is a strong recognition of our institutions’ shared expertise. This programme prepares future graduates for international careers in language teaching, curriculum development, educational technologies, intercultural communication, and other language-related careers. The programme lasts two years and includes a mandatory study period in at least two different countries. Courses are taught in English and either Spanish, French, or German, as two languages are required. The curriculum is designed to give students a broad and interdisciplinary understanding of their field of study, namely language teaching and educational design. Upon completion of the programme, students receive a joint degree from the consortium of universities. Applications for the first cohort of the master’s programme and related scholarships will open on October 20th, 2025 and close on January 20th, 2026.
