The for the An Post Irish Book Awards 2025 has been revealed.

In a strong showing by UL Creative Writing, The Ghosts of Rome by Professor Joseph O'Connor is shortlisted for Novel of the Year and for the Today FM Listeners' Choice Award, announced this week.

Donal Ryan is also shortlisted for Irish Author of the Year, and Gráinne O'Brien has been shortlisted in the young adult category, for her novel Solo.
