The 2025 Incredible Impacts Programme, run by , is an award and grant program for international associations to highlight and fund projects that create positive, measurable societal impact through their meetings.

We are delighted to announce that WONCA 2022 (World Organisation of Family Doctors) has been named a finalist for the $20,000 Main Grant. The conference was held here at The ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ in 2022 and supported by the Shannon Region Conference and Sports Bureau and UL Events. 

The conference, organised by Professor Liam Glynn of UL’s School of Medicine, was themed ‘Improving Health, Empowering Communities’, and served as a global platform for diverse stakeholders in healthcare, promoting positive changes for rural communities worldwide.
