¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ

We are delighted to announce that Kyriaki Pantelidou and Siobhan O’ Reilly have been awarded bursaries under the PPI Ignite Network@UL Bursary Scheme 2025. This scheme, funded by the Health Research Board and the Irish Research Council, supports public and patient involvement (PPI) in health research at the ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ.

The bursaries, each worth €2,000, are designed to help researchers and PhD students develop or strengthen partnerships with community and patient organisations. Activities supported can include developing PPI networks, enhancing research engagement, promoting PPI education and training, and creating resources to improve communication about PPI in health research.

Siobhan and Kyriaki’s projects will run from August 2025 to February 2026, contributing to a more inclusive and impactful research environment. We congratulate both recipients and look forward to seeing the outcomes of their work.
