On behalf of the discipline of General Practice at the School of Medicine, Professor Liam Glynn received the World Impact Award at the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) conference in Porto, Portugal Nov 9-12, 2025 for outstanding impact and social legacy from the WONCA World Rural Health conference held June 17-20, 2022 ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ. The prize of €20k will be donated to Rural WONCA and used to establish a Permanent Rural Practice Innovation Network and expand the Rural Ambassador Programme.
