- The World's top 2% scientists - Prof Anne MacFarlane, Prof Liam Glynn, Prof Colum Dunne, Prof Calvin Coffey and Prof Austin Stack are in the 'The World's top 2% scientists', which means they are amongst the most cited and influential researchers in their field. The rankings were produced by Stanford University in conjunction with the publisher Elsevier and SciTech strategies. The data is collated from Scopus and is based on citations updated to the end of 2024 and is and filtered by institution at that date. This is an outstanding achievement and highlights the excellent and impactful research being carried out in the School of Medicine.
- President鈥檚 Research Research Output Award - Professor Ailish Hannigan for her work on statistical methods to promote health equity. The research output was published in the International Journal for Equity in Health and was also selected as a Best Paper by the International Medical Informatics Association.
