Harry Gribben year 4 student on the Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery programme.

鈥淵ou can study medicine anywhere, but what I've come to realise is that it is the mentors, tutors, staff and most importantly the friends that you meet along the way that make the difference.

The collaborative PBL approach in the pre-clinical years enables you to meet so many people that become familiar faces, people that you rely on when the workload is high and exams are near.

As I come to the end of med school here in UL, it is those friends and the journey we have been on together that I am grateful for. Medicine is hard, it demands a lot of you as an individual. Yet it is working together that makes the difference at this school, a valuable skill for future doctors.鈥
