Brief Description

Learn to develop advanced skills in airworthiness engineering and management to meet global aviation standards.

The Professional Diploma in Airworthiness is Level 9, postgraduate programme delivered fully online by UL’s School of Engineering - home to established Aeronautical Engineering bachelor’s, master’s and PhD programmes.

Designed for engineers and aviation professionals, this programme builds expertise in Initial Airworthiness, including the design and certification of aircraft, aeronautical products, metallic and composite materials, structural integrity, aircraft systems, and human factors in design.

It also covers Continuing Airworthiness, focusing on aircraft maintenance and sustainment, reliability engineering, airworthiness regulation and management, maintenance human factors, and safety practices essential for operational compliance.

You will work alongside students from across the globe, ensuring an international standard of learning and collaboration. The online nature of the programme means you will engage with diverse perspectives and best practices from the global aviation industry.

This programme will earn 30 ECTS credits towards a Flexible Masters Pathway, allowing students to combine Postgraduate awards to achieve a Master's over time.
