Brief Description

An aidhm leis an modúl seo ná na mic léinn a ullmhú chun an Ghaeilge a úsáid go gníomhach sa chomhthéacs gairmiúil. Dianchúrsa teanga atá ann. Pléitear leis na scileanna teanga ar fad agus le téamaí coitianta teanga sa ghnáthshaol oibre. Bíonn deis ag mic léinn díriú ar an sainteanga a bhaineann leis an gcleachtas gairmiúiil. Leagtar an bhéim ar an bhfeasacht chultúrtha agus ar fhéinfheasacht an fhoghlaimeora teanga chomh maith. Bunsprioc ná an rannpháirtí a mhealladh agus a mhisniú chun níos mó Gaeilge a úsáid de réir a chéile ina (h)ionad oibre.

The aim of this module is to prepare students to actively use Irish in their professional context. It is an intensive language course. All language skills are developed, and common language themes in everyday working life are dealt with. Students focus on specific terminology relating to the professional setting. Cultural awareness and language learner self-awareness are also developed. The primary goal is to encourage and develop the confidence of participants to gradually use more Irish in the workplace
