Managing health and safety separately in a business can lead to duplication, confusion and avoidable risk. This 6-week, Level 9 micro-credential shows you how to bring health and safety together with your organisation’s quality and environmental systems, in line with legal and international requirements.

³Û´Ç³Ü’l±ô learn how safety processes connect with standards like ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and how to spot where systems overlap so they can work better together. ³Û´Ç³Ü’l±ô explore real examples, practical templates and the difference between having a safety policy and running an integrated safety system.

If you work in industry, safety, operations or compliance, this micro-credential will help you build hands-on integration skills that support audit readiness, improve risk control and make your systems easier to manage.

This module is associated with the Professional Diploma in Health and Safety. It can be taken as a standalone University Certificate of Study (UCOS) module or as part of a pathway to a larger award.

During this module, you will:

Understand how health and safety management systems work alongside quality and environmental systems

Explore how standards like ISO 45001 connect with real workplace processes and responsibilities

Use practical examples to learn how to reduce duplication and improve how safety is managed

Build industry-ready skills to improve health and safety performance, reduce risk and support audit readiness
