Brief Description

Fulfil your potential as an international manager of the future with UL’s one-year, full-time Master of Science in International Management . 

An MSc in International Management helps you stand out in a competitive global job market by demonstrating advanced strategic and analytical capabilities.  

³Û´Ç³Ü’l±ô develop a deep understanding of how businesses operate across borders, cultures, and regulatory systems. The programme strengthens your leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, essential for success in international roles. Most importantly, you’ll gain the confidence and expertise to make informed, ethical decisions that shape the future of global business. 

The programme offers a unique blend of academic and practical learning, providing an in-depth understanding of the successful management of the global enterprise that enables students to develop an international, cross-cultural and global mindset. 

The programme is delivered by an internationally experienced teaching team in state-of-the-art teaching facilities at the Kemmy Business School and offers a dual degree opportunity with one of seven business schools in France. 

During this programme, you will:  

  • Develop a strong understanding of global business, international management practices, and cross-cultural dynamics. 

  • Gain skills in international finance, marketing, supply chain management , and human resource management. 

  • Analyse real-world global business challenges and design effective strategies to address them. 

  • Build professional competences for managing international careers and leading culturally diverse teams. 

  • Critically assess the role of leadership, ethics, and corporate governance in shaping responsible decision-making within complex international environments. 

  • Formulate sustainable and socially responsible management approaches that balance global competitiveness with environmental and societal considerations. 

  • Integrate digital transformation, innovation, and data-driven insights into international management practices to enhance global organisational performance and adaptability. 

  • (Optional) Pursue a Double Degree with one of UL’s partner international business schools for enhanced global career opportunities. 

Key information: 

  • Complete full-time over one year   

  • Delivered on campus 

  • Modules taught during autumn and spring semesters   

  • You will take part in an international workshop and submit a research paper at the end of the summer semester 

You will learn through a blend of:   

  • Lectures, workshops, and hands-on activities   

  • Reflective practice and guided research   

  • Regular feedback from faculty and peers   

Year 1  

Autumn Semester 

  • provides the fundamentals of effective project management  

  • introduces students to international corporate finance. 

  • provides a thorough appreciation of managing organisations internationally. 

  • provides important skills and knowledge looking at sustainability within organisations. 

  • examines the meaning of leadership and focuses on differentiating leadership from management. 

Spring Semester 

  • provides a balanced and objective analysis of the issues confronting international policymakers and their impact on the daily lives of citizens. 

  • explores the global strategic management of organizations in a worldwide domain. 

  • develops an understanding of the special requirements for successfully conducting international marketing activities. 

  • explores complex nuances of trading across multiple in international markets.   

  • examines the changing dynamic within the future of work and talent management.    

Summer Semester 

  • sophisticated game of a dynamic simulation of an international business.   

  • a key capstone module involving industry lead  learning partnerships. 

Or 

  • The aim of the dissertation is to enable students to develop and demonstrate independent research and critical thinking skills and apply these skills in addressing an emerging or existing issue within the business domain. 

Books and journal articles needed for the course will be available online through the UL Glucksman Library

  • Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree ( Level 8) with at least a second class honours, grade 2 (2:2) in Business or a cognate discipline.

Annual fees are billed by semester. Once registered, students may be eligible to apply for a monthly payment plan.
