Brief Description
Project management skills are highly valued across industries; from business and healthcare to engineering and the public sector. Being able to plan, lead, and deliver successful projects gives you a key advantage in any professional role.
This 6-week, Level 9 online micro-credential gives you a practical introduction to project planning, governance, stakeholder engagement, and performance monitoring. You’ll develop the tools and confidence to take ownership of projects and align them with organisational goals.
Designed for professionals who want to build or enhance their project management capabilities, this module also supports progression to further study in project or operations management.
This module can be taken as a standalone University Certificate of Study (UCOS) module or as part of a pathway to a larger award.
During this module, you will:

Develop the confidence to manage project stakeholders, roles, and governance structures.

Key Information
This micro-credential will be delivered online over 6 weeks.
You will be assessed using continuous assessment methods, including online learning activities, an integrated project management plan and personal learning reflections.

To help you to be successful on this course:
Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree ( Level 8) with at least a second class honours, grade 2 (2:2).
If applicants have a lower result, they may be considered on a case-by-case basis if they can provide evidence of a minimum of 4 years working in a project setting.
The university may shortlist and invite you to an interview.
