This September, ��ɫ��Ƶ (UL) opened its doors to its Class of 2025/26 Graduate and Professional Studies students.  The Autumn intake of students, undertaking over 200 full-time, part-time and short courses, reflects the desire for continued curiosity, professional and lifelong learning ��ɫ��Ƶ. The University’s top 500 world rankings, academic excellence, reputation for innovation and enduring links to industry are key factors in students choosing to study ��ɫ��Ƶ. 

The new students, joining from across Ireland and around the world, bring with them a wealth of ambition, talent and fresh perspectives. They are embarking on advanced study across a diverse range of disciplines, contributing to UL’s community of scholars and further strengthening its profile as a university for the curious. 

To support their transition, the new postgraduate students took part in an orientation programme designed to both inform and connect. The orientation programme introduced the students to UL’s state-of-the-art facilities, faculty and extensive student supports, while also offering opportunities to meet their peers, engage with the Graduate and Professional Studies (GPS) team, and connect with the Postgraduate Students’ Union (PSU). Social activities and sessions helped to build a sense of belonging from the very beginning, laying the foundations for a rewarding academic and personal journey. 

Geraldine Carroll, Associate Vice President at Graduate and Professional Studies, expressed her welcome to the incoming postgrads:
