HRI Member Explores Apple's Anti-Obesity Potential

Professor Daniel Granato from ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ has secured €727,520 to investigate the potential health benefits of apple pomace, the residue left after apples are juiced or sliced. His project, aptly named APPLE-BIO, aims to harness the bioactive compounds found in apple pomace to combat obesity-related inflammation and oxidative stress.
