We invite you to share in our afternoon of social dance in Limerick. Social dance is a leisurely social activity that can encompass exercise, enjoyment, responding to music and social inclusion. We will include a range of social dances from Irish, Indian and African traditions amongst others. We welcome participants from community groups. Music will be provided by staff and students from the Irish World Academy. Dances will be shared in a relaxed and inclusive environment. No previous experience is required. This is the second of two participatory events to continue the Irish World Academy’s 30-year celebrations. The event is co-hosted by the Irish World Academy and UL Engage in partnership with the Life Long Learning Festival.
