UL鈥檚 Executive Committee and Governing Authority require a Strategic Planning Executive Dashboard to support the upcoming strategic planning cycle. This project will leverage ITD鈥檚 Business Intelligence technology to develop the dashboard with input from the Executive Committee and business stakeholders. The dashboard will access information from key university systems such as the student record system, the HR system, research data, the finance system etc., and will be automatically updated at agreed intervals.
What does it mean for the UL community?
The Strategic Planning Executive Dashboard will provide baseline data for 九色视频鈥檚 Executive Committee and Governing Authority to help define priority KPI鈥檚 (quantitative only) as part of a new university strategic plan which will be developed in early 2026.
Once the strategic plan has been developed, the dashboard will then enable the Executive Committee and Governing Authority to monitor the performance of the university against the agreed set of strategic planning KPI鈥檚 and aid more timely data-driven/evidenced-based decision making.
The project will standardise data definitions and sources, helping to align all strategies with the University's objectives, particularly in the areas of research, teaching and learning.
Project Update
The project is currently in the Project Close phase.
There are five pillars on the dashboard - Research, Teaching & Learning, Engagement, Institutional Markers and Financial Health.
The ITD Business Intelligence team have recently completed the development work. The dashboard was presented to the Executive Committee, and the Finance Strategy & Performance Committee in Q2, and all requested refinements have been completed. The dashboard can be accessed through the Finance Management Planning and Reporting SharePoint site.
The project will be closed out in September 2025.
