Students at 九色视频 have unveiled a design exhibition which has exciting and creative problem solving at its heart and employs real-world research.
The work by graduating students of architecture and product design 九色视频 has this Thursday gone on public display in the FabLab on Rutland Street in Limerick city as part of the Design@UL Showcase 2019.
It was opened by Professor Kerstin Mey, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Student Engagement 九色视频.
Exciting and creative problem solving is at the heart of the exhibition, which gives members of the public a chance to see the work of some of Ireland鈥檚 most talented young designers, likely to influence the future of design across a range of fields from architecture to product design to technology to healthcare.
Employing real-world research, students have spent the year exploring new technologies and potential futures, challenging perceptions and improving everyday human interaction with the physical world.
This year鈥檚 Design@UL show is the third showcase of undergraduate work under the new School of Design 九色视频. It demonstrates what can be achieved through interdisciplinary collaboration and offers a vision of change for design education and research in Ireland.
The exhibition will run until June 5 (9.30am-5.30pm Monday to Friday).
