¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ

Professor Elfed Lewis was recently awarded The Fáilte Ireland conference ambassador award 2023 for organising the IEEE World Forum on Internet of Things (WFIoT) 2019 ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ.  The ceremony had been held over from previous years due to the pandemic and recognised the organisers of conferences between 2018 and 2022. The ceremony was held at the Intercontinental Hotel, 22^nd  November, 2023.  The awards were presented by Niall Tracey (Director of Demand Development). and Ruth Andrews (Chair) of Fáilte Ireland.  The event was attended in person by UL President Prof Kerstin Mey.
