Science Learning Centre 
Offers drop-in tutorials and specialist support for first and second year science students to help with challenging modules.


Provides drop-in sessions, workshops, and peer-supported learning for programming and software skills in ICT-related courses.

Mathematics Learning Centre
Helps students strengthen mathematical skills through one-on-one and group tutoring sessions.


Facilitates peer-led study groups across engineering and computing programmes to promote collaborative learning.

Language Learning Hub 
Supports language students with study strategies and revision planning.

Information Technology Division
Ensures access to campus Wi-Fi, essential software, and technical help to keep you connected and productive.

UL Library Services
Provides extensive physical and digital resources, study spaces, and research support to enhance your learning experience.

Student Counseling Service
Offers confidential counseling and mental health support to help students manage stress, anxiety, or personal challenges.

Disability Support Service
Provides dedicated assistance and accommodations to ensure an inclusive learning environment for students with disabilities.

Student Engagement and Support Officers
Provides dedicated support to undergraduate students, offering guidance on academic, personal, and engagement-related matters to help you navigate university life successfully.

Health Centre
Offers on-campus access to doctors, nurses, and health advice to support your physical wellbeing.

Careers Services
Offers one-to-one consultations, CV workshops, interview preparation, and targeted employability programmes—including webinars, the Employer in Residence series, and career fairs—designed to support your professional development from first year through graduation. 

Cooperative Education & Placements
Manages your work placements centrally through UL’s Cooperative Education and School Placement programmes. These mandatory, academically accredited experiences (such as six- to eight‑month co-ops or teaching and clinical placements) connect you with industry and schools nationally and internationally. 

Global Co‑Op
Provides guidance on applying for international placements, covering locations like Spain, Japan, or the US, along with advice on language requirements, CVs, cover letters, and visa timelines to help you take your placement experience global. Please note not all our courses have placement opportunities abroad.


Represents student interests, organizes events, and provides clubs and societies to help students connect and grow.

International Student Support
Tailored services to assist international students in adjusting to life ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ and in Ireland, including orientation and cultural events.
