Our Transferable Skills Competency Frameworks provide detailed guidance for each of the seven transferable skills in our model. Developed in consultation with UL colleagues and aligned with international standards (TRANSVAL-EU, GreenComp, DigiComp, ESCO), these competency frameworks are designed to help both staff and students understand what each skill looks like in practice and provide examples of how they can be evidenced.
Each competency framework includes:
- Skill descriptors – Define the skills and understand why it matters.
- Competency levels – Intermediate, Graduate, Postgraduate
- Evidence examples – Practical examples of how to evidence skill acquisition.
