On Saturday, 23 August, alumni spanning the years 1980 through to 2020 returned to campus for UL Class Reunion Day 2025.
The sun shone as alumni took in our beautiful campus on UL’s first-ever campus road train. The Chemistry Department, Glucksman Library, UL Sport and the Irish World Academy all opened their doors, and past memories met new discoveries.
The Irish Chamber Orchestra gave a stunning performance in the Jean Monnet Theatre, and Ber Angley’s alternative tour of University Concert Hall added stories, surprises and even a recital on the historic Compton Organ.
One of the most meaningful moments came in the Memorial Garden, where UL’s founding President, Dr Ed Walsh, joined alumni in remembering classmates who are no longer with us. The day ended where so many student nights once began - at the Stables – with a Reunion Barbecue and a night of music and laughter that felt just like old times.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the day so special.
