The Kemmy Business School (KBS) invites interested international scholars to apply to spend a period of time ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ. This provides a unique opportunity to collaborate with world-class faculty, and contribute to innovative research at a triple accredited business school in one of Europe’s most dynamic academic environments. We also have a Visiting International Professor programme where we invite international faculty to engage with our diverse student cohorts in delivering classes in specialist topic areas.
Over the course of the visit (and depending on duration) the visiting scholar:
- will be hosted by a member of KBS Faculty.
- will be listed on the KBS website as a Visiting Scholar/Researcher with a biographical note. 
- will have access to the UL library.
- will have access to IT facilities.
- may be provided with a workspace, subject to availability.
- may be asked to deliver seminars on their research area/research project to KBS Faculty and Student community.
- may be asked to offer informal mentorship to PhD students or junior faculty
Process
Interested scholars are encouraged to identify potential collaborators within our faculty. Applicants are required to have a KBS staff member support their application and therefore should contact that KBS staff member in their particular field of expertise who then acts as their sponsor for the visit. Visiting Scholars/Researchers are advised to provide the following information when they make contact with a potential academic host ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ:
- Provide an overview of their academic field of interest, including a link to their current role and a two-page CV/biography
- Statement of purpose for the visit e.g. research paper collaboration, development of new project, teaching opportunity,
- Indication of the time period and length of the proposed visit - UL Academic Calendar

Visiting Scholars/Researchers are not employees or students of the University and therefore are not entitled to UL compensation or benefits available to regular staff, faculty or students.
