On Thursday 18th September 2025 the European Centre for the Study of Hate hosted its first Academic Meets Activist event of the year.
鈥淪ailing to Gaza: Personal Reflections on Civic Activism, Human Rights and the Flotilla Projects鈥 featured Zo毛 Lawlor of the Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Campaign in conversation with Dr Lindsey Garratt of the ECSH.
The Academic Meets Activist series exemplifies the work of the ECSH. The AMA is a seminar series in which a 鈥渃onversation鈥 is held between an academic and an activist, in which we discuss our shared vision for an inclusive society and ways in which we can make that vision a reality.
