Fearghas Ó Béara, Head EP Liaison Office in Ireland, will deliver a guest lecture to students in the module Ireland and EU membership coordinated by Dr Bernadette Connaughton, Department of Politics and Public Administration. The lecture focuses on evaluating Ireland's place in the EU in the new geo-political context. Fearghas O’Beara became Head of the European Parliament Liaison Office (Dublin) in 2025. Prior to this he worked for over 25 years at the European Parliament in Brussels where he was Head of Unit at the Research Service.
