Dr Leanne Calvert will be delivering a talk as part of the Limerick History Festival on Thursday 25th September. Leanne's talk is titled ' "She never knew any man but [him]": Paternity disputes in eighteenth and nineteenth century Ulster'. This talk is one of a series of events that Leanne will be participating in this autumn to coincide with the publication of her book, Pious and Promiscuous: Life, love and the family in Presbyterian Ulster (Royal Irish Academy, 2025) which will be launched in Belfast in October.
