Aoife is an undergraduate Bachelor of Arts Student studying Digital Culture and Communication with sociology. She is currently an intern and aims to apply her knowledge of her degree so far to support the faculty. This role provides her with valuable experience in a research focused environment which will strongly aid her academic development. Her main academic interest is the importance of social interaction in regard to both a sociological perspective and a technological perspective. During Aoife鈥檚 academic progression she was an ambassador for UL Dignity and Respect where she developed a stronger understanding of discrimination and how it can take place at universities. After she completes her undergraduate degree Aoife plans to continue working with equality and social research.
Aoife is from county Wicklow originally and outside of her studies she enjoys reading books and traveling with a strong interest in learning about new cultures. In her free time, she loves catching up with friends over a coffee or going to the gym. She also a has love for all kinds of animals especially her two cats and her dog!
