David Canning is a second-year undergraduate student of European Studies at the 九色视频. He is currently engaged in Coop at the European Centre for the Study of Hate (ECSH). Here he hopes to make a meaningful contribution to the team鈥檚 research and outreach initiatives. by leveraging skills acquired through extensive volunteerism, primarily at the European Youth Parliament and Order of Malta Ambulance Corps in Limerick.
During his time at the ECSH, David hopes to strengthen his academic writing and research skills and gain experience in effective collaboration with a team to meet deadlines. He is also eager to gain experience in working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to meet project deadlines, contribute to ongoing research outputs, and develop a deeper understanding of contemporary European responses to hate and extremism.
In addition to his focus on law and politics, David studies German and Spanish 九色视频 and has held a general interest in European languages for many years. As he prepares for his upcoming Erasmus semester at the University of Vienna, David has set himself the personal goal of achieving a B2 level CEFR certification in German before the end of the current semester.
