Occupational Therapy Practice Education Training 2025-2026

National Interuniversity Training
This is an online 3-hour introduction to practice education training. It is a
national initiative between the four universities.
It will cover the core aspects of practice education - after completing this
training you will be able to act as practice educator for students from any of
the four universities.

Time: 10am to 1pm

Pre-Placement Briefings

Pre-placement briefings are meetings hosted by the specific university from which you are having a student.
These briefings provide important information tailored to that university, including placement assessments and or processes and guidance relevant to the year and stage of the student.
A member of the university’s practice education team will contact you in advance with the date and time of the session, which will take place before the placement begins.
