Professor Rose Galvin was awarded the prestigious Presidential Medal from the Irish Gerontological Society at the Annual Scientific Meeting.

This accolade represents the Society's highest honor, recognizing individuals who have made significant contributions to the lives of older people through outstanding work in aging research, education, and practice.

Professor Galvin is the first non-geriatrician to receive this esteemed award and the 2^nd woman.
