Nursing and midwifery are professions built on compassion, knowledge, and leadership, and our mission is to prepare nurses and midwives who are not only clinically skilled and competent, but also research-informed and globally connected.  

At our School, we pride ourselves on combining academic excellence with practical experience. Our programmes in three key nursing disciplines; general, intellectual disability and mental health and our programmes in midwifery are designed to equip students with the knowledge, clinical expertise, critical thinking, and research skills needed to meet the evolving demands of healthcare. Through state-of-the-art facilities, clinical skills and simulation laboratories, interprofessional learning opportunities, and strong partnerships with healthcare providers, we ensure that our graduates are ready to lead with confidence and competence.

We are equally committed to advancing research and innovation. Our faculty are engaged in impactful studies that influence policy and practice, improve health outcomes, and enhance education. Students have opportunities to participate in research projects, publish findings and contribute to initiatives that make a real difference locally and globally.
