The School of Nursing and Midwifery is delighted to announce the completion of two major facilities project that have transformed our teaching and learning spaces.
One development includes a new Simulation Suite in the Millstream Building, which is equipped with a Simulation Lab, an Observation Room, Control Room, Storeroom, and Lobby. The second development in the Health Sciences Building, is a new three-bedded Clinical Skills Laboratory and a new dedicated self-directed learning lab, designed to support students’ independent practice and flexible study.
These modern, practice-focused facilities reflect the School’s commitment to providing high-quality education in environments that mirror real-world healthcare settings. With construction now finished, the Simulation Suite project is entering the next phase of equipping and preparing for teaching.
We are excited to see these new spaces come to life and to support our students in developing the skills and confidence they need for their future professional practice.
