Kellie is a graduate of the MA in History programme at the ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ. Kellie wrote her dissertation on Irish country houses as part of the MA programme. In this interview, she describes why she chose to study ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ, her experience of the Master’s programme, and her future plans.

Liz Ryan is Limerick native and a graduate of the MA in History. With a business background, she explains why she chose to study history ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ and describes her experience of the programme.

Paul Kwamina Ntisful-Yirrah was born in Ghana but subsequently moved to the US where he lived with his family. He is a graduate of the LLM Law (General) here at the ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ. Paul describes what inspired him to study law, why he chose UL, and gives us an insight into the programme itself.

Caitlin is a graduate of the Masters in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). She describes her experience of the Masters programme and why she would recommend the course to other language-loving students below.

Pippa Slattery was born in England but has been living in Ireland since 1988. She studied on the M.A. for Creative Writing at the ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ. She has recently been shortlisted by New Irish Writing and has short stories published in The Blue Nib, The Galway Review and The Tiny Seed Journal. Her flash fiction piece Rag Doll was shortlisted for the Kanturk International Arts Festival.

Shu is a graduate of the Masters in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). Shu describes her experience of the Masters programme and the teaching practice she completed as part of the course. Read more about her experience below.

Marta is a recent graduate of the MA in Applied Linguistics here in UL. She shares her experiences of the programme, the ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ and Ireland below.

Stephen Griffin is a graduate of both the BA in English and History and the MA in History ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ. He is currently in the process of completing his PhD here in UL also. Stephen discusses his experience of the MA programme.

I was keen on an arts degree as I wanted to do something that was broad and varied and not prescriptive to one defined route of employment.
