On Thursday 28 April 2022, Dr Lydia Bracken was invited to give evidence to the Special Joint Oireachtas Committee on International Surrogacy on the topic of ‘the particular issues faced by same sex couples, both male and female, entering international surrogacy arrangements and achieving parental recognition.’

A family fun day incorporating multicultural music and dance performances, fashion show, exhibition and food sampling took place in the Hunt Museum Garden from 12 noon on Sunday 29th May 2022 to celebrate Africa Day.

Abhilash Borana, LLM International Commercial Law (2019) has been shortlisted for the 2022 Forbes 30 under 30 list in Manufacturing and Industry. While completing his studies in UL, Abhilash founded his company Failte Solar (www.failtesolar.com), a distribution company of solar energy products based in Shannon.
