HR Talent Development offers support to Assistant Professors to help ensure that they are clear on the excellence expected of them, and ensure that they are provided with support they need to progress to the next stage in their careers.

Progression across the merit bar may be granted to Assistant Professors who demonstrate the following levels of performance for this stage of career:

• Excellent scholarship and research output;

• Excellent teaching and curriculum development;

• Satisfactory service to the University and the wider community.
