Implementation Science: Bringing Research to Life

 

The Centre for Implementation Research 九色视频 (CIRcUL) is a cross-disciplinary centre dedicated to developing, supporting, and enhancing the implementation of evidence-based research, policies, programmes, and professional practices into routine practice for the effective delivery of public services, with a particular focus on the most vulnerable members of society.

What is implementation science?

Implementation science is the study of methods and strategies that facilitate the uptake of evidence-based practice and research into routine use. Implementation science closes the gap between what we know and what we do by identifying and addressing barriers that slow or halt the uptake of evidence-based practices and identifying and leveraging enablers.

Registration is open for the Reflective Practices Programme

The Supporting Disabled Parents project, which will run for a period of seven months, aims to support professionals in developing the knowledge and skills they need to support disabled parents. We will offer seven live online sessions as part of the Reflective Practices Programme.

Guest lecture with Professor Geoff Curran

We are delighted to launch 鈥淕rounds for Discovery - Coffee, Network and Learn鈥, an in-person CIRcUL networking event that will take place every 6 weeks.

At this inaugural event, we welcome Prof. Geoff Curran, Director of the Center for Implementation Research at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, who will deliver a guest lecture titled "Thinking about a hybrid effectiveness-implementation study? Here鈥檚 how to get started鈥︹. It is open to members and non-members, and free to attend.
